The Community Service Department (P2M) of HIMA PSTI Aksaracita Cabinet again held an annual work program BERLIAN (Sharing Glory in the Month of Ramadan) which this year carries the theme “Sharing is the Key to True Happiness”. This activity aims to spread kindness, help people in need, and build the social spirit of PSTI students towards the surrounding environment.
As a form of social care, BERLIAN will be held on Friday, March 15, 2025, from 14.00 to 19.00 WIB, at the Mansyaul Ihsan Foundation Orphanage, Cikolotok, Purwakarta, involving 30 orphanage children. In its implementation, HIMA PSTI collaborated with semuasenyum.id to expand the reach of the benefits of this activity.
In addition to sharing happiness through social assistance, BERLIAN also presents teaching sessions for orphanage children with a focus on Writing, Reading and Counting (Calistung). This learning approach is carried out in an interactive and fun way, and utilizes technology as an educational tool. Hopefully, through this session, the orphanage children can be more motivated to learn and develop basic skills that are important for their future.
As the highlight of the event, students and the orphans will break their fast together, creating a warm and meaningful atmosphere of togetherness. This activity is expected to be a valuable experience for students in practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the field of community service.
With the spirit of togetherness and care, BERLIAN is clear evidence that sharing is not only about material things, but also about giving attention, knowledge, and love to those in need. Let's spread kindness together and make this year's Ramadan more meaningful!
