Purwakarta, January 30, 2025 – The Information Technology and Systems Education Student Association (PSTI) of the Indonesian Education University, Purwakarta Campus, has again produced new graduates after four students from the 2020 intake successfully completed their final exam. This exam was held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with participants Amanda, Zahra, Abubakar Bachtiar, and Memei.
The exam began at 08.00 WIB with the first session to the last participant scheduled for 11.00 WIB. Each participant had a one-hour exam time, consisting of a presentation of research results and a question and answer session with the examiners.
One of the participants, Abubakar Bachtiar, underwent an exam at 10.00 WIB. His exam was attended by three examiners, namely Mrs. Dian Permata Sari as the chair of the exam, Mr. Rizki Hikmawan, and Mr. Ahmad Fauzi. The exam was opened by the chair of the exam, followed by a 10-minute presentation, and a discussion session with the examiners. After all examiners had given their questions and responses, the participants were asked to wait outside the room while the board of examiners discussed the evaluation results. A few moments later, the results of the examination were announced by the chair of the examination, including the revision requirements that needed to be fixed before being officially declared to have passed.
Participant Impressions
The four participants of the examination, Amanda, Zahra, Abubakar Bachtiar, and Memei, expressed their gratitude and happiness after successfully completing the final examination. Although they felt nervous at the beginning, they were finally able to go through the examination smoothly and confidently because they had mastered the material presented. They were also happy because they were able to discuss with the examiners in more depth.
"There was a feeling of nervousness at the beginning, but after starting to present the research results, my confidence began to grow. We feel grateful that we were able to pass this stage well," said one of the participants. They also expressed their gratitude to all parties who had supported them, especially the supervisors and examiners who had provided a lot of knowledge and direction during the research process.
With the completion of this examination, PSTI students from the 2020 batch are one step closer to officially graduating. Their success is proof of the academic struggle they have gone through during four years on campus, and is a motivation for other students who are preparing for their final exams.
