Purwakarta, February 2025 - The Perubahan Rencana Studi (PRS) period at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has ended. With the conclusion of the PRS period, students are expected to understand the contracted class capacities and the regulations regarding the maximum Semester Credit System (SKS) that can be taken each semester.
In the announced course contract statement, the university conveyed that entering the Even Semester 2024/2025, all study programs at UPI are scheduling courses and filling out the Study Plan Form (IRS). During this process, there have been restrictions on the number of SKS that do not fully align with students' study plans.
The SKS contract limits per semester are as follows:
Undergraduate (S1) and Applied Bachelor's (D4) Programs
- Semester 1: maximum 20 SKS
- Semester 2: maximum 20 SKS
- Semester 3, 4, 5, etc.: maximum 24 SKS
Master’s (S2) Programs (Coursework & By Research Track)
- Semester 1: maximum 20 SKS
- Semester 2, 3, etc.: maximum 24 SKS
Doctoral (S3) Programs (Coursework & By Research Track)
- Semester 1: maximum 20 SKS
- Semester 2, 3, 4, etc.: maximum 24 SKS
Students are encouraged to understand these limitations to better plan their study schedules. Additionally, the university continues to strive to adjust class capacities according to students’ academic needs to support a more effective learning process.
