Purwakarta, August 28, 2024 – The Information Systems and Technology Education Study Program (PSTI) of the Indonesian Education University (UPI) Purwakarta collaborated with SMPN 1 Purwakarta in developing Information Technology-based classes.
The collaboration with SMPN 1 Purwakarta is a follow-up to the MoA that has been made between the UPI Campus in Purwakarta and SMPN 1 Purwakarta. One of the main objectives of this collaboration is the development of IT classes at the school, with the hope of encouraging digitalization in the learning process and the use of technology-based media in the future.
In addition, this coordination activity is also related to the implementation of the UPI P3K Program as part of an effort to implement the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Program at UPI. P3K, or the Professional Strengthening Program for Education, was developed to provide students with a deeper understanding of educational practices in schools. This program is a development of the PPLSP which previously had a weight of 4 credits. After being aligned with the MBKM program, its weight was increased to 20 credits to improve its quality.
